Sara Osman

Sara Osman’s installations draw inspiration from historic, post-war, or abandoned cities in the Middle East, exploring themes of grief, belonging, and home. Osman’s debut solo show in London at Arbeit Studios opens October (2024). Received the Phaedra Makridou Scholarship to support her MA Sculpture at RCA (2022). Awarded the Edward Sharp Prize where Loughborough University Art Collection acquired the painting ‘Syria’ (2021). Major group exhibitions include ‘Linger in Silence’, Willesden Gallery, London (2023); ‘unseen wounds’, Crypt Gallery, London (2023); Winter Sculpture Park, Gallery no.32, Bexley (2023); Thorp Stavri: The Factory Project, London, (2021): ‘Open: The People’s exhibition’, Leicester Museum (2019).
