Artist Development is central to our programme. We support emerging and early-career artists by creating space for experimentation, reflection and long-term growth, recognising that development is shaped by each artist’s needs and ambitions.

Our work takes place across two strands. Artists selected through our annual submission take part in a structured artist development programme, working closely with us over time and culminating in a major institutional exhibition. Alongside this, we deliver a year-round programme of opportunities, including studio bursaries, residences, online workshops and in-person events that are free and open to everyone.
