Founded in 1949 by artists and for artists, New Contemporaries champions emerging and early career artists, offering a transformative platform that fosters visibility, mentorship and professional development through a major national touring exhibition. This 75th anniversary marks a major milestone for the organisation, with a new artistic vision and a programme of new commissions, public programmes, artist residencies and research designed to create new possibilities for artists.
We are delighted to partner with Christie’s for this landmark fundraising exhibition, which is an opportunity to honour our
legacy and raise vital funds to support the next generation of UK-based emerging artists. It would not be possible without the support of the incredible artists who are at the heart of everything we do. Kiera Blakey, Director, New Contemporaries
