Submissions 2012: Extension
Due to an overwhelming amount of interest we are extending the deadline for submissions for the 2012 edition of Bloomberg New Contemporaries until Monday 27 February 2012.
Submissions can be up until midnight via the submissions site.

New Contemporaries is the leading UK organisation supporting emergent art practice from British Art Schools. Since 1949 New Contemporaries has consistently provided a critical platform for new and recent fine art graduates primarily by means of an annual, nationally touring exhibition. Artists meeting the criteria below are invited to submit a selection of their work for consideration by a panel of selectors, usually more established artists.
Bloomberg New Contemporaries 2012 is open to individual artists or collaborative groups (as long as at least one member of the group meets the following criteria). Applicants must be:
- Undergraduates in the final year of a degree in fine art at a UK college
- Postgraduates enrolled on a degree in fine art at a UK college
- Those who graduated from either an Undergraduate or Postgraduate degree in fine art in the 2011 academic year
