In Going Down by Julie Henry, the idea is straight forward. The film of the extreme actions and reactions of football supporters watching a match manages to directly convey the intense pitch of ritualistic group dynamic. The camera documents the two sides, the winners and the losers, and at some stage even becomes an object of anger as the crowd vents resentment and elation in equal measure.

Notes from conversations on the artists' work held at different times between Keith Tyson, Sacha Craddock and Simon Morrisey and between Susan Hiller, Sacha Craddock and Des lawrence.
